Well it’s officially fall around here which means we’re craving cozy days indoors cuddled up with a cup of cocoa. Or you know, in reality it’s more like trying to please the kids and keep them quiet for a few minutes by distracting them with a sweet and healthy drink like this one! 😉 Either way, we promise you’ll love this sweet and satisfying drink!
This cocoa recipe is a twist on the traditional because it’s made with Bo & Marrow Bone Broth. If you don’t know, Bone Broth has so many incredible benefits for your digestive system, skin, joints, nails and overall health so by making cocoa with bone broth, you (and kids too!) will not only enjoy a delicious drink but you’ll be reaping the benefits of the superfoods used in this recipe. We love using Bo & Marrow’s broth (yay support local!) for this one. So without further ado, here’s how to make this cozy comfort drinkIngredients ||

1/2 teaspoon each ground cinnamon and cardamom
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon maple syrup

How To ||
Mix all of the ingredients together (except for the broth) in a small bowl
Pour the mixture into the bottom of your favourite cup
Add 12 ounces of the hot Bo & Marrow chicken bone broth
Buzz with a mini handheld frother to combine (or whisk to combine in the bowl if you don’t have a frother)
