first things first, a big thank you to erinn for the invitation to do these posts. the perfect blend of my loves of photography and fashion AND a way to support an awesome small local business? count me in!
for our first post, lila and i headed downtown to the new shop and she ended up choosing the winnie dress in charcoal (it also comes in mustard!). i have a thing for staple items that can be dressed up or down and this dress is the perfect piece for that with it’s simple silhouette and added details (hello pockets!).
lila and i styled it three ways:
as is. this dress is a great piece just on its own — add a pair of sandals, show off the strappy back detail and twirl factor and call it a day.
sporty. layer on a knotted memories tee, with a ball cap and sneakers for a park date or an adventure in the woods.
cozy. pair with a chunky cardigan (the norah cardigan would work great!) for warmth on cooler summer evenings (and throughout the rest of the year!).
i can also totally also see it dressed up with lace up ballet flats and a cute necklace, or more casual with ankle booties and little denim jacket. with a versatile piece like this, the options are endless!
